How To Trick Your Repoman

Living the high celebrity lifestyle also means paying the high priced bills....oh wait apparently not for Naz Lo and 50 Simoleon. Yep that's right they forgot to pay the bills! So after three days worth of unpaid simoleons, the dreaded notification popped up saying "The Repoman is own his way!"

Your Sim's Worst Nightmare!

Luckily their almighty God (me!) stepped in just in time to switch to buy mode. And clever little omnipotent Tim decided to move all the valuable items (TV, stereos, fussball table, hot tub, etc..) into the family inventory - after all Mr. Evil Repoman won't be able to warp up any of the items that are worth something :P

"Durr...where did everything go?"

Well what do you know it worked! He did take the indoor beach bbq from the kitchen which kinda ruined the theme and the computer table (minus the computer hehe) but that was all!

Now I believe the score is as follows....Celebrity Sims: 1 Repoman: 0

I'd recommend this tip to any other Sims 3 gamer who is tired of abiding by Simlaw. My philosophy?: go wild and get out of trouble via any way possible!

PaPa Paparazzi!

Oh the downside of fame! Yes I am referring to the paparrazi! Now I like this idea of having NPC take the job as a journalist/photographer and follow round your celebrity sims. On the other hand I don't believe my sims themselves like the paparazzi.

In their defense it did start to take a turn for the "err....hello, what are you doing here?!" When the pair started getting uninvited guests round The Rich and Soulful apartment to take a few snaps and jot some things down...

...Anyway Naz Lo soon got fed up of them (or jealous that 50 Simoleon was getting all the fame) and decided to show them what she thought of them...

...You go girl! So yeah now she has 2 celebrity friends but 2 paparazzi enemies!

Those two weren't the first - and they definitely won't be the last - to follow our current sims around but all of them better watch out! After all she is hot-headed so they should know better not to get on her bad side...

Take Me Out!

Yep that's right my sims Naz Lo and 50 Simoleon went out on a date!
Like I said in the previous blog dating is a returning feature to the Sims game since the release of Generations and I for one really like it. Unlike another feature such as laundry *yawwns* this one is a really good addition. It's interactive and similiar to normal outings you can do all sorts including "Convince to..." on a sim which can get them to attempt crazy things. At the end of the night you get told how well the date was and you can even get a moodlet that lasts a day or two. So without further ado, let's see how our star couple got on...

...As you can see it went very well indeed and they even had a costume change when they got home (no I don't know why..). Anyway that's it for this post but I must say both Naz Lo and 50 Simoleon were getting spotted by other sims in the neighbourhood, oh the glory of fame!

When In Bridgeport....

Hi again people, here's a quick blogpost all about the first few hours playing The Rich and Soulful Household:

So first of all I got fed up with all the dirty laundry being left everywhere, I think it was a very stupid addition to the game and to avoid doing such a mundane task I hired a maid. I soon upgraded them though to an executive butler (mainly because he did no work!) which is now living in that spare room - It pays/entitles you to free cleaning and tidying to be prepared!

Well I have worked out that 50 Simoleon is definitely a player, every girl he meets he immediately wants to skinny dip in the hot tub or pool with, and surprisingly a lot of them accept! He has currently got the naughty reputation for flirting with the lady butler, but it's okay as long as Naz Lo doesn't mind..

"Sir, I really don't think that this is part of my job description."

..But to be honest, I don't think she does. She is completely focussed on her career - She is currently a Background Extra at the PlumbBob Pictures Backlot - and living it up with all the celebrities at the hottest clubs and bars. She has already gained a star from becoming good friends with Tiara Angelista and is aiming high. 

Oh yeah by the way just to clarify, 50 Simoleon has the LifeTime Wish of living the life of the rich and famous - which involves becoming a 5 star celebrity and being worth over §100 000 - whereas Naz Lo wants to become a Superstar Actor.


Man up!





Anyway back at home aside from all the hot tub skinny dipping action, 50 Simoleon is trying out all sorts of skills including cooking, mixology, guitar, drums, piano, and athletic (although he is finding it quite painful!).


 







It's a blacked-out blur but I'm pretty sure it ruled!....Zzzz....



Whereas Naz Lo comes home from her parties and nights out at the early hours of the morning, despite having work the next day, and only just manages to pass out on the sofa!

 



So yeah that's how their first day went together, I sent them on a date the next a feature which has made a return through Sims 3 Generations and I am pretty pleased with it. That will be the subject of my next blogpost.

Life of the Rich and Soulful - (No Copyright Intended)

Hello again, I know it's only been a very short time since I did my last blogpost and they probably won't all be this frequent but I thought I'd go straight ahead into making my household to live in my expensive but very snazzy apartment.

So I looked over the rooms I created and could tell this is a place only true celebrities can live in. So in create a sim I started playing around with a cool soul come rapper kind of guy and ended up creating..........
50 Simoleon! - I have no idea where I got the inspiration for that name ;)

So his traits are Party Animal, Athletic, Star Quality, Virtuoso and Hopeless Romantic and here he is clearly enjoying himself already....

Clearly I thought 50 needed a girl on his arm so who else but Bridgeport Renowned Naz Lo (again nothing like a real life celebrity...). Her traits are Dramatic, Flirty, Star Quality, Nuturing (new with Generations) and Hot-Headed. Check out her posing!

So I left it at those two and didn't quite make them married but boyfriend and girlfriend instead - This way they can get hitched and have the Bachelor/ette parties that 50 Simoleon will clearly want! So I did end up boosting their funds but only to purchase the furnished apartment lot that I spent so much time and effort creating. From now on though it's a "If you want it, earn it!" policy and I am going to try and avoid using the need cheats...

I'll end this post here but I did play around a little with my Rich and Soulful household so expect initial gameplay shortly.

Location Location Location

Hello everyone!

This blogpost is in aid of my new home I have been building for the last day or so. I have decided for my future sim household to live in a highrise apartment in Bridgeport, but obviously a tiny one bedroom, one bathroom home is just not good enough.

This set me off on my very own reconstruct and redesign project (minus the overalls) and the high rise apartment I chose to edit for the better was Powell House near The Brightmore.

Firstly before I could do anything I had to put a few cheats on: ctrl-shift-c, testingcheatsenabled true, RestrictBuildBuyInBuildings false and buyDebug on. I didn't however use any money cheats since when you are in build/buy mode there are plenty of simoleons to spend...

I ended up making a three floor apartment with one main floor for the home, another above for my very own club area and a one bedroom floor for the butler to stay in (yes I was thinking ahead). I will post the pictures at the bottom of this blogpost.

Once I had finished decorating the house to look tasteful and expensive I worked a little bit on the lobby and exterior. All I basically did was extended the width of the entrance lobby and put in a public room marker. As for the outside, I moved the subway along a bit to make room for a fenced off garden with a curved pool and BBQ.

I was basically done after this but was a little surpised to find out that the price reached over §65K! However this only meant that my future household will come to inherit a rather generous amount of simoleons hehe.

My names Tim and thanks for checking out my blog, as you can probably tell my blog posts are going to be directed to The Sims 3 game and families and stories I create and play out. I realised how much I loved this game from the moment I played "The Sims: Busting Out" on console and since then started playing the even better and more freeplayable* Sims 2 and more recently Sims 3; both on PC.

Whether you treat or torment you Sims, I hope you enjoy the game as much as I do and take pleasure in reading my experience on the game.
