Location Location Location

Hello everyone!

This blogpost is in aid of my new home I have been building for the last day or so. I have decided for my future sim household to live in a highrise apartment in Bridgeport, but obviously a tiny one bedroom, one bathroom home is just not good enough.

This set me off on my very own reconstruct and redesign project (minus the overalls) and the high rise apartment I chose to edit for the better was Powell House near The Brightmore.

Firstly before I could do anything I had to put a few cheats on: ctrl-shift-c, testingcheatsenabled true, RestrictBuildBuyInBuildings false and buyDebug on. I didn't however use any money cheats since when you are in build/buy mode there are plenty of simoleons to spend...

I ended up making a three floor apartment with one main floor for the home, another above for my very own club area and a one bedroom floor for the butler to stay in (yes I was thinking ahead). I will post the pictures at the bottom of this blogpost.

Once I had finished decorating the house to look tasteful and expensive I worked a little bit on the lobby and exterior. All I basically did was extended the width of the entrance lobby and put in a public room marker. As for the outside, I moved the subway along a bit to make room for a fenced off garden with a curved pool and BBQ.

I was basically done after this but was a little surpised to find out that the price reached over §65K! However this only meant that my future household will come to inherit a rather generous amount of simoleons hehe.
